Stepping up from a four-year stint as an Assistant Coach to Co-Head Coach this year is the Dolphins' own Becky Gray. Becky is studying to be a teacher at Washington College. Becky is a college athlete holding down the defense of the Washington College field hockey team. She has been a member of the National Honor Society, been on the Dean's List, and was the named the Linganore Coaches Association Scholar Athlete. Becky received the Mathew White swimming award in 2002. The Mathew White award is presented to the athlete who shows exceptional support for fellow athletes encouraging them to reach their potential. Becky was captain of her high school field-hockey and swim teams. Perhaps most importantly, since she was old enough to swim, Becky has been a Dolphin.
"I love coaching the Dolphins because I love the atmosphere and love nothing more than seeing the kids grow both as people and as swimmers. I love to see when each child is able to bring in a best time or even a heat winner ribbon."
